A New Chapter @ No. 28

What’s going on?
After having put this idea on ice for a few months we can now reveal the plan for No.28 next door but one (our former VOD shop).
From the moment we left our old record shop there was always going to be another chapter for the space and after much consideration and listening to instore feedback/requests we decided on a USED Hi Fi store .
We currently sell new Rega turntables/amps/speakers etc but felt there was a need for a range of used audio fit for all budgets.
Starting out it can be expensive and we hope we can bridge this gap with afforadable good quality equipment, so whether it be a first step or an upgrade over time we hope to stock a great range to include all the other bits you need including phono leads and speaker cables.
A Bold Step?
Not really it should be a good use of the space and hopefully a great addition to our Record shop where sales of new Rega products and Hi Fi accessories will continue.
We plumped for the name AUDIO + as it seems to sum up an addition to our existing shop, in essence an extra room.
For this venture we are not alone , working with local Hi-Fi enthusiasists and Audiophiles (who know far more than we do) the selection instore will reflect all those involved (the idea is that items on sale will cover all budgets).
How Will It Work?
As the name suggests this is an add-on so will not be manned but we will open for viewing as required, information of what is in stock will be found in our Record shop and on a new AUDIO + page on our website.
If you want to hear a particular set up before purchase we will look to accommadate where possible.
This is something new for us and as with all things it should evolve over time .
No.28 has seen a lick of paint and some minor adjustments to wooden racks , the removal of the counter/till area... and 15 years of bits and pieces!
When will it be up and running?
From the week commencing 21st July the week of our next Record Fair which on Saturday 26th July.
